How to anchor paintballs quickly using Notepad
You've added all your paintballs through PetWorkshop and now you need to texture and anchor them...
If you've only made a dozen paintballs, doing them manually might be fine. But as your paintballing becomes more complex, you're going to be faced with a very daunting task!
However, with a little planning, you can actually do this step very quickly and easily!

However, with a little planning, you can actually do this step very quickly and easily!
If you are planning to use different textures on different paintballs, colour them differently as you place them. This will save a LOT of time later. It doesn't matter what colour you choose because that can be changed later!
Copy and paste your paintballs, excluding the paw pads, into Notepad.

Now we are going to use Find and Replace to texture and anchor all the balls that are coloured 21.
Copy the whole line from the 21 to the end and paste it into the "Find what" section. Then also paste it into "Replace with" and edit it to have the texture you want and a 0 on the end to anchor your paintballs.
Hit Replace All and let the magic happen!
Repeat for each colour/fuzz level!
What if I want to use different textures on the same colour paintballs?
Now what if I actually want ALL the paintballs to be coloured 35 but I want to use three different textures? I've planned ahead and colour-coded my paintballs 21, 31 and 35 so this is easy!
Start with the paintballs (if any) that are already the colour you want to end up with and texture and anchor them. Doing them first will avoid getting confused.
Then move on to the next set. In this case 31 and repeat the same steps from above only this time you will also change the colour in the "Replace with" section.

Hit Replace All! Now not only are your paintballs textured and anchored but you've also made them the same base colour.
Repeat for all colours as before!
What if I just want everything to have the same texture?
You don't have to use the colour column at all if you simply want to texture everything the same and anchor them...
You can Find and Replace just the final 6, 5, 4, or even just 3 columns... This is handy if you have paintballs with different levels of fuzz and just want them all anchored quickly!

All done!
What will NOT work is inputting only -1 and trying to replace that with your texture because it will find and replace ALL the -1s! So before using any sequence, make sure it is unique to the end of the lines you want to change.
Using Notepad for this is very easy. I also like to use a program called Notepad ++. It has the same functionality as Notepad but with many additional features which come in really handy for hexing.
